Hans Rudolf Weber (born in Chur 1935) works in the medium of painting, sculpture and light installation. Originally trained as a lawyer, he has been exploring since 1982 the area between the figurative and the abstract. In his latest works he has been questioning the construction of reality in the context of a mediatised world’s ubiquitous production of images.

Hans Rudolf Weber (1935 in Chur geboren) arbeitet in den Medien Malerei, Skulptur und Lichtinstallation. Ursprünglich Jurist und Rechtsanwalt, lotet er seit 1982 das Feld zwischen Figuration und Abstraktion aus. In seinen jüngsten Arbeiten befragt er die Konstruktion von Wirklichkeit innerhalb der ubiquitären Bildproduktion einer mediatisierten Welt.
